Rita Ora attended the 2012 Radio Academy Awards rocking an optical illusion inspired jump suit. I feel as if you stare at her jump suit long enough a picture may appear. LOL! Honestly im not feeling this look, so I will have to go with not on this one. I feel like she is missing something from this outfit.

Surfs up! Summer is on the horizon so grab your board, long or short, because we’re riding the surf wave trend. 80′s surfers inspired the look and the vibe is sporty, fun, and relaxed.

Surf culture is a way of life and fortunately this season you don’t have to learn the techniques to look the part. The sea is a swell of neoprene fabrics, athletic silhouettes, acid neon colors and ink black, zipper accessories, and graphic prints. Sports wear is the main influence and designers portrayed the surfer with collections of body hugging garments and sharks tooth accessories.

Whether you’re a beach bunny or a surfer, don’t miss your chance to catch the raddest wave of the season!

Vogue magazine is hosting a contest searching for visionaries in the areas of art, fashion, photography, and design. Fashionistas this is a great opportunity to gain exposure in the industry. To those of you who decide to enter the contest good luck!!!

The winner will receive $10,000, a one-year mentorship with the photo agency Management Artists, the opportunity to shoot an exclusive Bottega Veneta special project, and a RED Epic-X camera package. The winner’s portfolio will be exhibited in New York City.

Fashion News: Nicole Richie for Macy’s

Nicole Richie has been selected to be the next designer for Macy’s Capsule Collection. Nicole stated that “music is the driving force behind my inspiration.” The line will launch online and in limited stores. We can expect Richie’s signature boho style, which means lots of bold prints, bright colors, and flowy fabrics. She joins the ranks of esteemed designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Giambattista Valli, and Alberta Ferretti. Her line is set to hit stores this fall.

I am super excited about Nicole designing for Macy’s! I am totally in love with her style and if it is anything like Winter Kate and House of Harlow she has already won my heart.
